Moving from Windows XP is highly advised. Ditto your creaky Dell Dimension. Double-ditto Microsoft Word 2003.

That long-awaited move from a Bic to a Pentel may be just what you need to get unstuck.
Your protagonist may finally pop the question[or even a new one!] and you can finally move on to his inevitable Hallmark-ish emotional peaks and valleys.
Multiple pages will be written by you today.
A second critical eye should be cast on your work by a new writing partner.
Use of passive voice is to be avoided at all costs.
Today is not a good day to spout politics. Unless you want to be engulfed in a Twitter storm and wake up trollers from their mid-afternoon slumber. On the other hand, there might be ‘reader runoff’ into your Lifestyle of the Destitute and Obscure blog.
Approach a writing snafu from a different angle.
Try shredding that bungled first chapter instead of your customary wad-and-toss.
If it helps, add a few choice expletives as the pages are ‘repurposed’.
You are trustworthy and people value your opinion.
So tread lightly when discussing your fellow writer’s dystopian Victorian western.
Appreciate its vivid descriptions and move on.
